Проект - отражает русский взгляд на феномен красивых женщин.
В этой работе Аглая искала ответ, красота - это привилегия или ноша? Особенность этой работы заключается в том, что восприятие красоты в разных культурах имеет совершенно разный характер. Так, например, в английской культуре, красота — это чаще подарок и привилегия, согласно исследованиям Чикагского института, красивые женщины в Америке чаще удовлетворены браком, легче устраиваются на работу и в целом оценили свое состояние как более счастливое. В то время похожее исследование в России при университете МГУ, не показало никакой корреляции между внешностью и удовлетворенностью жизнью.
Отражением разницы культур так же можно увидеть в пословицах. Аналог русской пословицы "Не родись красивой, а родись счастливой." в английском языке является "Better be lucky then rich".
